“IB” Learning At Bloomberg Singapore
Westbourne College (Singapore) was invited to Bloomberg Singapore last week for a tour of the global business and financial information leader’s local premises last week.
Our IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme students had the unique opportunity to explore the Bloomberg Terminal, the conglomerate’s cutting-edge software for data analytics, with a live demo by Bloomberg Singapore staff showcasing the Terminal’s extensive range of functions.
Building Connections for the Future
In today’s increasingly interconnected world, building strong connections is essential. During the visit, our students gained valuable insights into how Bloomberg fosters global interconnectivity. They also learned about Bloomberg’s own “IB” — Instant Bloomberg, an inbuilt chat and networking tool within the Bloomberg Terminal.
The session also featured an informative HR presentation on global internship and full-time career opportunities available to students. Our students eagerly engaged with Bloomberg Singapore’s hosts, asking insightful questions and gaining a deeper understanding of potential career pathways in the financial sector.
